Surgical removal of wisdom tooth

Wisdom tooth or impacted tooth mostly is the third molar, occur between 16-25 years old, it’s generally impacted or embedded under or behind of the second molar. The wisdom tooth can cause seriously painful or infected of gum tissue around the tooth. Sometime it cause dental cyst involved in to the ramus bone or the decay of the second molar just because we can not well cleansing.

Ridge augmentation or bone grafting

Ridge augmentation or bone grafting is the procedure to improve the shape and size of alveolar ridge inprepairing of dental prosthesis. Most of bone augmentation procedure involve the use of bone grafts. An excellent choice for bone grafting is the autogenous bone that can be harvested from both ramus or chin. Autogenous patient blood growth factors is an another effective option by centrifugation of patient blood. The synthetic bone graft material, allograft or bovibone are one of choice.

Sinus lift with bone augmentation

This procedure usually done before or the same time of implant placing in the maxillary. The procedure by making surgical incision and open the flap near the sinus cavity area and make a small window without tearing sinus membrane, lift up carefully. Then putting synthetic, autogenic bone, growth factor. Concentrated Growth Factor is new generative of platelet rich plasma preparations ( PRP ) which exhibits and interesting clinical and biotechnological potential. This autologous preparation growth factors not only enhance tissue healing, but also improve surgical procedure, less complications of pain, inflammation and morbidity. CGF is in solid form by using centrifuging of patient blood, collected in vacuum tubes. PRP and CGF have been used in alternative to traditional barrier membrane over bone graft, therefore acceleration of tissue regeneration is acquired. Sticky bone graft matrix provides stabilization of bone graft in the defected area, short healing period and minimized bone loss. This procedure can be done by using Medifuge automatic machine.

Removing of maxillary or mandible torus

This torus occur in some patients. It is the excessive growth of bone in the palate of maxilla or lingual of mandible, usually painless. In case of patients who need removable denture. This torus should be removed before the prosthetics procedure.

Removing of embedded tooth

This is a kind of abnormal tooth eruption, malposition usually lie beneath other teeth and cause painful or develop to dentigerous cyst as wisdom tooth. The removing procedure is the same as wisdom tooth.
